A POEM A DAY 18

A STROLL

Lie naked with me

Let’s bare our souls

Lying skin on skin

Let’s take a stroll

Into the depths

Of our heart’s content

Where on sunshine

And love are meant

To dance and delight

Harmoniously

Where words aren’t thrown

Carelessly

But, spoken in a way that

Connection is woven

Into the fabric of the other’s soul

Take my hand, let’s take a stroll
