BOUND TO LIVE

I am no shrinking violet

For I am wild and free

I don’t know how to be

Anyone other than me

I celebrate my failures

And embrace my flaws

I am bound to live

By no man’s laws

That would dictate

Who I am

Or who I should be

‘Cause I don’t give a damn

If you like me at all

For you walk in the shadows

Of my five feet tall
