A POEM A DAY 35

January 26, 2021

SWEET & TENDER

His love was sweet and tender

When he spoke, flowers bloomed

And butterflies danced and flitted

About the room

His love was sweet and tender

Until the day it wasn’t

It was then you understood

That he never did and he doesn’t
