A POEM A DAY 41

February 1, 2021

WITHIN

 You wouldn’t know
If I didn’t let you in
 The storm that brews within
The depths of my very soul
 Dark and dank and cold
This very first day of February
Is more than drab and dreary
It's the beginning of the end
 Of which I cannot mend
