A POEM A DAY 67

MESMERIZED

She'd told me
Time and time again
Not to lean back
In my chair
But I didn’t listen
I hadn't a care
Until that fateful day
I leaned back and looked
And what I saw shook
Me to the core
Her breasts sat upon her thighs
I was dazed and mesmerized
At their size
The image etched into my eyes
Something I can never unsee
But believe you me
I never again leaned back in my chair
Not even on a double dare
