A POEM A DAY 69

MY SOUL WILL NOT REST

I have loved none
Greater than thee
With my whole heart
I do so decree
A love bounding
Resounding
Inside of my chest
I toss and I turn
For my soul will not rest
'Til I see you again
In this life or the next
Some may say
My soul has been vexed
But I shun such witchery
Because they could not know
Where love comes from
Or from where this love grows
