OLE BILL

Now Bill is an unassuming dog. 
He plays with lizards and licks on frogs.
The thing he likes to do for fun, 
Is lie on his back and bask in the sun.
If one didn’t know better, they'd think he was dead
And go grab a shovel from inside the shed.
Now ole Bill doesn’t do much these days,
Besides sleep and watch the cows graze.
At night he retires to his cozy den
And only comes out when that cackling hen,
Who is without a cock
Falls under the guise of the sly little fox.
