A POEM A DAY 107

April 8, 2021

COME BACK TO ME

There goes my heart
Running away with him
Heart,
Come back to me
Heart,
There are things you can't see
And things you don’t know
Or can even comprehend
He is heartbreak
And he is deceit
He'll write you checks
Without giving receipt
Heart,
Come back to me
