A POEM A DAY 139

ON THE COAST

My lips smile the most
When I am on the coast
With my feet in the shallows
Listening to the waves hum
Watching seagulls sky dance
And pipers prance
While leaving their prints in the sand
Though I am naturally tanned
I love to bathe in the sun
Because it is like food to my soul.
