DROWNING

Sometimes I miss you in ripples
That come and go, slowly
And at a pace
My heart can bear
But today, I am drowning
Can't even tread
These waves of despair
My grief is overwhelming
Expanding and expounding
Laying open, the unspoken
Anguished misery
Inside
