A POEM A DAY 170

GROUNDED

I am home
I am grounded
Peace permeates the atmosphere
Dogwoods bloom
In pink and white
Cardinals chirp incessantly
I wonder of what they speak
About the days happenings
The sky is clear blue
Without a cloud in sight
A dragonfly flits by
I am sure I felt whirls of wind
As he passed by
The sun is warm on my skin
If I didn't know better
I would worship it as a god.
I am home
Feet planted
I am grounded
