A POEM A DAY 187

ECHOES OF A BROKEN BRIDGE

Once proud and strong, a bridge now lies,
Its structure fractured, under somber skies.
Steel beams, weathered and worn,
Echoes of the past, now forlorn.

Once bustling with life, now silent and still,
A broken bridge, a testament to will.
Memories linger, in whispers and sighs,
Of journeys taken 'neath its arching skies.

But time has claimed its toll, and now we mourn,
A broken bridge, once vibrant, now torn.
