ETERNAL COVENANT
Arched in the sky, a bow of light,
A promise etched in hues so bright.
Genesis whispers, ancient tale,
Of floodwaters past and God's prevail.
A sign of peace, a covenant made,
Between earth and heaven, never to fade.
God's pledge in colors vivid, bold,
A story of mercy forever told.
Yet man, with curious mind and heart,
Assigns new meanings, tears apart.
Flags of pride, symbols claimed,
In the spectrum, new messages named.
But in the shifting sands of time,
Meanings change, fade, and climb.
Yet God's promise stands, clear and true,
Unchanged by what we say or do.
For in each arc, His vow remains,
Beyond our symbols, beyond our claims.
A reminder from the ancient skies,
Of faith and love that never dies.
