A POEM A DAY 361

CIRCUS

You are not Barnum or Bailey
And I am not a circus
You cannot parade me around
For people to see me with you
Though I am a fine specimen
I am not an animal on display
I will not prance or preen
At your pleasure
Nor for the voyeur's eye to see
I only prance and preen
At my leisure
