A POEM A DAY 166

A BANK

On my back
On a bank
Eyes towards the sky
The twinkling of stars
The glow of the moon
A soft breeze blows
Crickets strum a tune
And light bugs dance
A zig-zag pattern
In the forest deep
Owls cry Who
And willows weep
Tears of mournful woe
And the bobcat screams
