It is easy to walk past a hydrangea and see only a cluster of flowers. A splash of white, a hint of green, something beautiful but ordinary. Yet, when we pause and look a little closer, an entire world reveals itself.
Each tiny blossom has its own delicate shape, its own place among the others. Some still hold a touch of green, while others have softened into creamy white. And at the center of each bloom rests a tiny button of white, so small and perfectly placed that it might escape our notice altogether. Together, the blossoms create something magnificent, but individually, they possess a quiet beauty we might never see.
I wonder how much of life we miss simply because we are too busy moving through it. How many small wonders go unseen because we never stop long enough to look?
Perhaps beauty does not always ask to be noticed. Sometimes, it simply waits for us to slow down.
